How to pay with Boleto (bank slip)
The boleto (bank slip) is a one-time cash payment option, handy for anyone who would rather not use a card or PIX. The most important difference compared to PIX is that the boleto is not confirmed instantly: clearing can take a few business days. After choosing Bank Slip as the payment method, you go to the screen titled “Boleto Payment”.
What you see on the screen
- A block with the Boleto Code (the payment line), in a highlighted font.
- The “Copy boleto code” button.
- The payment instructions.
- The “Payment Status” block, showing “Pending Payment”.
- The “Confirm Payment” button.
How to pay
- Tap “Copy boleto code”. The button turns green and shows “Copied!”, confirming that the payment line was copied.
- Open your bank app or online banking.
- Choose Pay › Boleto and paste (or type) the payment line.
- Check the amount and confirm the payment.
The on-screen instructions reinforce where to pay: “The bank slip can be paid at any bank or via online banking” and “Payment may take up to 3 business days to be confirmed”.
Why confirmation takes time
Unlike PIX, the banking network takes a while to process (clear) a boleto — usually up to a few business days. In the meantime, the on-screen status stays as “Pending Payment”, and the product is not released yet. This is expected and does not mean something went wrong.
After paying
You do not need to leave the page open waiting for days. Once the boleto clears, the payment is confirmed automatically and you receive the confirmation by email.
If you have already paid and want to check the status manually, go back to the screen and tap “Confirm Payment”. This button only checks the status — it does not generate a new boleto or a new charge. If the boleto has not cleared yet, a notice tells you the payment is still pending; this is normal within the clearing window.
Keep the boleto code until confirmation. If the due date passes without payment, you will need to place the order again at checkout to generate a new boleto.
