How to pay with a credit card
The credit card is usually the fastest payment method to get approved. When you choose Credit Card at checkout, the card form appears right below the payment methods. On some products, the card comes with an “Immediate Approval” badge.
Filling in the card details
The form asks for, in order:
- Name on card — exactly as printed on the card. When you type at least two letters, a green ✓ appears next to the field.
- Card Number — the 16 digits. When you complete the number, a green ✓ confirmation appears.
- Expiry (Month/Year) — in MM/YY format.
- CVV — the 3 (or 4) security digits on the back of the card. This field is required, marked with an asterisk (*).
If the product allows it, the Installments field also appears — see the article on paying in installments.
Errors you might see
The checkout validates the fields before sending. You may see messages such as:
- Expiry date is required. — if the expiry field is left blank.
- Security code (CVV) is required. — if the CVV is not filled in.
Fix the field indicated and confirm again. A typing error is the most common cause of a decline, so double-check the number, expiry, and CVV carefully.
After you confirm
When you confirm the card purchase, the screen shows a processing step: a spinning icon with the message “please wait…” and “We are processing your order. Do not close this screen.”.
During this step, the payment goes through a transaction security check. Depending on your bank, an extra confirmation may be required (for example, approving the purchase in your bank app). This is normal and part of the fraud protection.
- If it is approved, the screen advances to the purchase confirmation or to the page configured by the producer.
- If it is declined, the “Unable to complete your purchase” screen appears — see payment declined.
Never close the page during “please wait…”. The card result can take a few seconds, and closing the screen too early only gets in the way of tracking it.
