How to use a discount coupon
If you have a discount coupon, you can apply it right at checkout, before paying. The coupon field is labeled with the question “Have a discount coupon?”, with a small tag icon next to it.
Where to enter the coupon
- Find the “Have a discount coupon?” section in the purchase summary.
- Type the code in the “Enter your coupon…” field.
- Tap “Apply” (or press Enter).
While the coupon is being checked, the button shows “Applying…” and is temporarily unavailable.
Coupon applied
When the coupon is valid, the field changes state: instead of the input box, the applied coupon code appears, with a “Remove” button next to it. The discount is then reflected in the purchase total.
If you applied the wrong coupon or want to try another, tap “Remove” to go back to the input field and enter a new code.
Invalid coupon
If the code is not accepted, an error message appears just below the field and the coupon is not applied. This can happen when:
- the code was typed incorrectly (check uppercase letters, spaces, and zeros vs. letters);
- the coupon expired or does not apply to that product;
- the coupon has already reached its usage limit.
Check the code and try again. If you are sure it should work, talk to whoever sent you the coupon (the producer of the offer).
The PIX discount
Besides the coupon, some products offer an automatic PIX discount. In that case, the PIX method appears with a discount label (for example, “5% OFF”) right in the payment method selection. This discount is applied on its own when you choose PIX — you do not need to type any code.
