How to cancel my subscription
You can cancel a subscription yourself from the member area, without needing support. Cancellation stops the future charges while keeping your access until the end of the period you already paid for.
Note: the member area (área de membros) is in Portuguese only, so on-screen labels are shown in Portuguese exactly as they appear, with an English gloss in parentheses on first mention.
Cancel button
- Open Minhas Assinaturas (“My Subscriptions”) (from the menu on the icon with your initials).
- On the subscription you want, tap Cancelar assinatura (“Cancel subscription”).
The button only appears on subscriptions you can cancel (for example, Ativa (“Active”) or Pausada (“Paused”)). Already-canceled subscriptions don’t show the button.
Confirmation
The “Cancelar assinatura?” (“Cancel subscription?”) window appears, explaining what will happen:
A assinatura “{nome}” será cancelada ao fim do período atual. Seu acesso será mantido até {data} e não haverá nova cobrança.
(In English: The subscription “{name}” will be canceled at the end of the current period. Your access will be kept until {date} and there will be no new charge.)
Tap Sim, cancelar (“Yes, cancel”) to confirm, or Voltar (“Back”) to give up. While it processes, the button shows “Cancelando…” (“Canceling…”).
After canceling
When it succeeds, the message “Assinatura cancelada — O cancelamento foi agendado para o fim do período atual.” (“Subscription canceled — The cancellation was scheduled for the end of the current period.”) appears. In the list, the subscription now shows the status “Cancelamento agendado” (“Cancellation scheduled”), with the notice “Cancelamento agendado — acesso mantido até {data}” (“Cancellation scheduled — access kept until {date}”).
In other words: you keep access until the date already paid, and you won’t be charged again. The cancellation applies to future charges.
If it errors out
If “Erro ao cancelar — Não foi possível cancelar a assinatura. Tente novamente.” (“Cancellation error — We couldn’t cancel the subscription. Try again.”) appears, wait a few moments and repeat. If it persists, contact the product/seller support.
Canceling the subscription stops future charges, but does not refund amounts already paid. If you want a refund for a charge that already happened, see I want a refund for my purchase.
