Change your password on first access

On your first access to the member area, it’s common for the system to take you straight to the “Primeiro Acesso” (“First access”) screen and ask for a new password before continuing. This is expected.

Note: the member area (área de membros) is in Portuguese only, so on-screen labels are shown in Portuguese exactly as they appear, with an English gloss in parentheses on first mention.

Why I need to change it

The password that came in the access email is temporary. For security, the system asks you to set your own password right away. The screen makes this explicit:

Esta é sua primeira vez acessando o sistema. Por favor, defina uma nova senha segura.

(In English: “This is your first time accessing the system. Please set a new secure password.”)

Password requirements

The form shows two requirements, which get checked off as you type:

• Pelo menos 6 caracteres (“At least 6 characters”).
• As senhas devem coincidir (“The passwords must match”) — the Nova Senha (“New password”) field and the Confirmar Nova Senha (“Confirm new password”) field must be identical.

Use the eye icon in each field to show or hide what you typed.

Confirm

With both requirements met, tap Alterar Senha (“Change password”) — the button shows “Alterando…” (“Changing…”) while it processes. When it succeeds, “Senha alterada com sucesso! Redirecionando…” (“Password changed successfully! Redirecting…”) appears and you continue to the Meus Cursos (“My Courses”) panel.

The screen also reinforces, in the footer, that “Sua senha será criptografada e armazenada com segurança” (“Your password will be encrypted and stored securely”).

Session error

If “Sessão expirada. Faça login novamente.” (“Session expired. Please log in again.”) appears during the change, it’s because your access time ran out before you finished. Just log in again and redo the step. See also My session expired.

After setting the password, future logins use the new one. If you forget it, you can reset it by email.
